Our Beliefs

• Our chief goal in life is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever

• Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, the same in substance with God, the Father and God, the Holy Spirit - equal in power and glory

• The greatest moral value in this life is the worship of God our Creator

• Jesus lived, died and bodily rose from the grave, returned to heaven and will come again

• God is sovereign overall of life

• The Bible is God's Word, a love letter to His people. The Bible is infallible and has everything needed for faith and life

• Heaven is a free gift - it can't be earned or deserved

• Jesus bore His people's sins and the punishment that they deserve

• Faith in Jesus' work on our behalf, and faith alone, gets us to heaven

 

Apostle's Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified dead and buried. He descended into hell. The third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty, From Thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
