Rules For In-Person Worship Services

Beginning May 10, 2020

 

  1. We will have 2 services – 9:00 and 11:00

  2. Maximum of 60 people at each service.

  3. At 9:00 masks are optional. At 11:00 mask are required in deference to love of neighbor.

  4. Worship leaders will not wear masks

  5. Seating and access to services is by reservation only

    • Reservations made by email (BayPres@msn.com), text or phone (239-498-9055)

    • Reservations are accepted from 10:00 am Monday to noon Friday.

    • Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis.

    • Each reservation will specify names(s) and number of attendees, preference of service time, contact phone number and contact email.

    • Each person making a reservation will be advised on Friday afternoon, of their acceptance.

    • Reservations exceeding the 60-person capacity limit will be put on a waiting list and receive priority treatment for the following Sunday.

    • Those who get their specified service will be asked to cancel if they cannot make it to permit others to attend.

  6. People are advised that they should stay home and watch via Livestream if they feel uncomfortable with this arrangement until such time as they feel comfortable.

  7. People are advised to stay at home and watch via Livestream if they don’t feel well, have a temperature, are coughing or sneezing, or have compromised immune systems.

  8. Doors for those with reservations will be open at 8:30 and 10:30

  9. Worshipers must use hand sanitizing stations on their way in and out

  10. Offering plates will be placed by the front door for people to make their offerings on the way out. Offering plates will not be passed.

  11. Bulletins will be available on the way in and can be discarded in trash cans at the door at the conclusion of the service.

  12. Observe social distancing of 6 feet or more with everyone not in your household. Chairs will be arranged to make this possible. Observe caution to maintain this when entering and exiting, particularly at doors and in hallways

  13. Surfaces will be wiped down after each service

  14. No fellowship time before or after services – no coffee, etc

 

Rules For In-Person Bible Studies

Beginning May 10, 2020

 

  1. In person Bible studies and other small groups are limited to 10 people or less.

  2. Observe social distancing of 6 feet or more with everyone not in your household. Chairs will be arranged to make this possible. Observe caution to maintain this when entering and exiting, particularly at doors and in hallways.

  3. Wearing face masks is optional.

  4. Attendees must use hand sanitizing stations on their way in and out.
